W.J. Smith Construction did a fantastic job on our rental house in Greenville! I had a great feeling about Will from the beginning and my gut feeling was correct! He gave me honest feedback on my options, he was fair in his pricing and was great to work with. His crew was very efficient, and they cleaned up every bit of the debris. They were up front with the renters living there about when they would arrive and what to expect, and Will kept me in the loop by sending pictures throughout the process. I am so fortunate to have asked Mr. Smith to replace our roof. He did an amazing job! It looks wonderful. We are some pretty tough customers. We did not accept quotes that could have saved a couple of pennies. because we know the roof is one of the most important (and costly in most cases) parts of a home. It has to be not only of good quality materials, but installed properly and definitely in a timely manner. We asked lots of specific questions which definitely ruled out some folks quickly!Being a roofer in Greenville is very competitive I am sure. But you don’t want to gamble….call him. After the unthinkable happened in December, a car crashed into my home leaving a huge hole in the garage, damages to the stairs leading up to our bonus room and separation of the walls and ceiling of the garage and upstairs room as well, we lived a nightmarish few months with Insurance and a Contractor that never followed through. I truly feel blessed to of found Willie Smith Construction.My husband is a disabled Army Veteran, so I now handle anything having to do with the household. While I’m not saying women aren’t capable, I found myself in very unfamiliar territory and didn’t even know how to move or who to call. There were truly days I felt so overwhelmed that I questioned if I could even handle the mess we were left with. As stated the first Contractor would leave me hanging with no contact for weeks and the whole situation became even more stressful. After finally making the decision to seek another Contractor I came across W.J. Smith Construction and I’m so glad I did! Within 2 weeks his crew came in and restored my home back to normal. Not only did they do the repairs, but Will knowing my situation had them come in and clean out the mess so I didn’t have to deal with that on my own. From the moment Will walked into my home until the moment the last of his crew said goodbye everything was seamless and professional. Will kept me in the loop with daily updates and was sure to put my worries to rest. He never made me feel like “a woman with no clue”, he made me feel like the homeowner who deserved to have her house and sanity back. I cannot say enough good things about his crew, they were the most professional and friendly, always smiling, I swear we hardly ever heard so much as a hammer!The best decision I ever made was to seek another Contractor and thank goodness it was W.J. Smith Construction. Did I mention he came in and had me good as new within 2 weeks? The actual repair was only about a week, I’m just accounting from the day I made contact.
